You’ve probably stumbled upon this website looking for information about KnownHost. To say it bluntly: KnownHost is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with.Now you must be saying, what does that mean to me? Frankly, it should mean a lot. I have bounced from about 10 hosts in my lifetime, dealing from fly by night operations to well established companies who frankly don’t care at all about their customers. For me to come upon this company and feel “apart of the family” being treated like a valued customer, is a feeling like no other. I’ll leave you with this before I start my formal review; try to find one bad review of KnownHost anywhere. It’s impossible to please everyone and frankly there have been a minute amount of people who might have had some trouble, but they were taken care of promptly, by the management of KnownHost. In other words, the “one in a million” who finds this company doesn’t fit their needs, they are the center of attention by the CEO and management to make it right. That really says something. NO service is perfect but communication is everything and you can see from their forums that communication is what makes them who they are. They don’t hide from you, they tell you if there’s a problem and how they will fix it. Will they be perfect? No. No one is perfect, but they do sincerely put their heart into it.

I have been with Knownhost for over 15 months now on there XLtx plan . I have been with them from there early stages all the way till now and I have no intentions of ever leaving. I have been praising Knownhost from day 1. They are my lifeline. I personally have spoken on many accounts with Paul(CTO) and can say that he is a well polished, ethical and professional individual who not only knows what he’s doing but as I keep saying “care’s about you.” What do I mean by care? Their not looking just to pack in as much customers as they can to make the most profit. They want to make sure you stay happy forever with their services.
So here it goes.
Network Speed/VPS Performance/Uptime:Time from my computer in USA to my server is 48ms to the Texas DC. Not bad at all. Network is always fast and over the course of my entire experience with them my VPS has been inaccessible for about an hour due to network problems. VPS performance.

A score of 267.3 is an amazing score for what I’m getting.
I am extremely happy with the performance of my VPS. I have been with 2 other VPS providers in the past and the performance I get with my VPS with KnownHost does not compare.

Saying KH’s support is amazing is an understatement. No words to describe here how great it is. Response times have never exceeded 1 hour - usually within 5 minutes.
Several months ago there was a ddos attack taking down the whole KH tx network. Guess how fast it was resolved? Less than 5 minutes. We were informed in the forums within a few minutes of the downtime and we were back up within 5 minutes. Thats what you get with KH. They really have your back.
